"Levels" (stylized as "Le7els") is a song by Swedish house producer and DJ Avicii. It was released on October 28, 2011. The song was written by Avicii and Ash Pournouri, and contains a vocal sample from the 1962 gospel-inspired "Something's Got a Hold on Me" by Etta James, as written by Leroy Kirkland, Pearl Woods and James. "Levels" peaked at number one in Sweden and Scotland, and became a top ten hit in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway and the United Kingdom.[2]

The song is the base for Flo Rida's hit "Good Feeling" which was a worldwide hit in late 2011.[3]

Music video

The official video for the song was uploaded to YouTube on November 29, 2011. The video started with a man in an office who was talking to a fellow co-worker when he suddenly started dancing. He scribbled on different surfaces, danced on tables while co-workers disapprovingly watched him dance, and got tasered later, and fell in a coma. While in a coma, he had a vision of himself pushing a boulder on a mountain while singing the chorus lines. Before he woke up, a flower sprouted from his mouth, which infected the male nurses looking after him. The video ended with him, all the doctors and nurses dancing, also presumably infected.
